Liquid refreshment
The Milbury’s eclectic wine list was compiled by Clive and Tanith’s daughter Georgia, who gained a degree in gastronomy while living in France. With Georgia now out in Australia, the list is looked after by food and wine service manager James Lumby, and it offers wines from across the globe as well as those produced much closer to home.
“One of my targets is to have one of every single one of Hampshire’s wines on the list,” adds Clive.
Local ales are also the main offering behind the bar – managed by Clive and Tanith’s son Lewis – with Hampshire breweries including Flower Pots, Triple fff, Alfred’s and Flack’s well represented in a regularly changing line-up.
