Skittle Lounge
The Skittle Alley at The Milbury has been part of the pub for around 40 of its 400-year history. Lovingly restored, the traditional alley now combines its original charm with a few modern comforts, including repaired roofing and a new boiler to keep things warm (ish)! Set within an old barn, the beautiful flint walls and original beams remain on show, creating a truly unique and characterful space.

Looking for something a little different? Our Skittle Lounge is the perfect setting for skittle events, whether you’re planning a fun get-together with friends, a family occasion or a team event. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, good food and drink, and a bit of friendly competition. Please note that age restrictions apply to skittles, along with specific opening hours for the alley.
DARTS EVENTS
The Skittle Lounge isn’t just about skittles, it’s also a great place to enjoy darts and social events. Bring your friends, challenge your colleagues or organise a fun-filled darts evening in a relaxed pub atmosphere. With food and drinks available, it’s an ideal space for groups looking to enjoy a few games and a great time together.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
The Skittle Lounge is available for private hire and can be tailored around your event. With 20 fixed seats and a further 12 removable seats, we can accommodate up to 32 guests for lunch or dinner, while the space can also be arranged for more relaxed parties and gatherings. Whether it’s a birthday, celebration, work event or simply an excuse to get everyone together, we can help create an event that works for you.
